Why should I use a travel agent?

Even in the age of online booking, travel agents are a great source of information and discounts. A travel agent can make sure that your trip is tailored to you, assist you in case of unexpected problems, and help you anticipate potential issues in advance.

How much do you charge for your services?

Most of my services are FREE to you. Every travel company (e.g., Expedia, Disney, Universal, cruise lines) already builds in fees to every trip. If you do not use an agent, you are paying for a service you don’t use.

Please note: To protect my time, to utilize my service a small non-refundable retainer deposit will be applied to each service. This retainer deposit will be applied to the balance of your booking. See Deposits & Pricing Page for additional details.

Will I save money by booking with you?

It is very likely that you will save money (or get extra amenities) due to my partnerships with various suppliers and my consortia.  At the very least, you will pay the same price as booking direct but will receive a much higher level of service and expertise.  You will also save yourself a ton of time and uncertainty.

Do you book group travel?

Yes! Do you have an upcoming church retreat, wedding, bachelor/ette party, family reunion, guys/gals trip, group cruises, business conferences, or student trip? We can handle the details and ensure that you have access to group seating, entrances, and discounts. 

How far in advance should I plan?

For most trips the recommended planning is at least 3-4 months in advance; for peak season travel, at least 6-8 months in advance. 

For cruises you'll want to begin planning as far out as you can.  This is usually the way to secure the best price and a prime cabin location.  Cruise schedules can sometimes be released 2 years out (unlike air schedules, which are only available 330 days out).   Last-minute deals are not something we see very often and you have to be SUPER flexible on your travel dates in order to nab one.  These days, cruise prices are rising steadily so we recommend you lock it in ASAP.

For custom design trips the recommended planning time is 3-4 months in advance, and for peak season travel, at least 6-8 months in advance (think Summer in Europe, Festive Season in December & January, Spring Break, Cherry Blossoms in Japan, etc
